In December 2010 and January 2011, my spouse, Julia and I traveled to the continental United States, thanks to the Beatrice Robinson Scholarship.
This scholarship enabled us to explore seven major U.S. regions and examine specific environmental initiatives in the church. Specific attention was given to parish ministry activities which connected to social justice outreach, and community building in-reach.
I’m always interested in learning more about faith and community-based projects which seek to holistically engage the immense challenge of climate change and connect with the call to live lightly as loving stewards of God’s Good Creation.
Furthermore, I’m passionate about communities of faith being involved in environmental projects through locally-based initiatives and partnerships, so I’d love to hear from you!
